The end of April 2019 saw a very special MRB line-up assemble at legendary roots and Americana venue The Greys (in Hanover, at the bottom of Brighton's 'muesli mountain'!). With violin, steel guitar and double bass along with second acoustic guitar and drums, Mike and the band led an over-capacity crowd on a song by song journey through the Nashville recorded 'Clovis Limit Pt.1'. The performances here are delicate and personal, from the first haunting strains of 'The Reason This Railroad' and the New Orleans heartache of 'Young Man' to an emotional rendition of 'Lily' and a rollicking run through 'Lee Of The Bay'. Joining the band as guest singer (filling in for an ever on-tour Elles Bailey) was Brightons Shauna Parker, an ex-bandmate of Mikes from times past.
